2018 Taos Ski Valley Arts Festival General Information:

2018 marks the Third Annual Taos Ski Valley Arts Festival. The event is operated by Taos Ski Valley, Inc. in the majestic Sangre de Cristo mountains.There will be limited space for this festival.

There are no quotas of any medium, however we will do our best to organize a well-balanced show.

Date & Hours & Location: Saturday, July 21st: 11:30am – 4.30pm, Sunday, July 22nd: 11:30am – 4.30pm, The Children’s Center on the frontside of the mountain.

Taos Ski Valley is located 17 miles north of the town of Taos, NM and 88 miles north of Santa Fe, NM. Please visit the getting to Taos page on our website for more travel details. MAP

Important Exhibitor Information:

Attendance
All booths should be attended by the exhibitors at all times. Reasonable breaks are excepted however please remember exhibitors are responsible for the security of their exhibits.

Security
Exhibitors are responsible for the security of their exhibits and equipment. TSV, Inc. recommends the removal of all valuables from the exhibit area at night, and the placement of all displays and relExhibitors are responsible for the security of their exhibits and equipment. Bears have been spotted in the evening / night time here. Please remove ALL trash, food and any other fragrant smells from tents in the evenings.

Wifi
There is wifi next to the Children’s Center. Wifi should reach your tent, however if it does not you are free to go on the deck or inside the Children’s Center if you need wifi to take payment or any other reason.

Power
There will be no power access at your tents.

Check-In / Set Up / Tear Down

Saturday, July 21st:
• 8.30am: check in & load in opens
• 8.30am – 11:15am: Exhibit set up
• 11:30am: Festival opens
• 4:30pm: Shut down for night

Sunday, July 22nd:
• Before 11:30am: Reopen your exhibit
• 11:30am: Festival Opens
• 4:30pm: Tear down and load out

Please make sure you arrive at Taos Ski Valley by 8.30am to ensure your booth is set up no later than 11:30am on Saturday, July 21st when the Festival officially opens.

You may drive cars as close as possible to unload and load but no cars will be allowed in the festival area during festival hours.  

Selling Artwork
Exhibitors are responsible for collecting paymen for work that is sold. Please consult with your personal tax professional for tax requirements.

Layout & Showcase
Exhibitors will all be set up next to the Children’s Center. You will be inside of our special alcohol premise which means people will be able to browse the show with their beer and wine in hand.Exhibitors will all be set up next to the Children’s Center. You will be assigned a clearly marked 10x10 space for your tent. You will also be given a sign with your name and art medium(s) listed to hang from your tent.

Display Requirements
Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own booth structures including: White canopy, racks, tables, display units or all other fixtures suitable for outdoor use. Exhibitors are responsible for providing their own booth structures including: White canopy, racks, tables, display units or all other fixtures suitable for outdoor use.

All exhibitors are required to have weights for to secure their tents. Exhibitors are encouraged to be prepared for inclement weather with appropriate rain covers and tie-downs.

Additional Information
