Art is a process where I can honor the joy, beauty, and meaning in objects, nature, and people. Subjects touch me with their visual beauty and symbolic meaning – whether it is a still life, an old building, a rustic vehicle, landscape, or street scene. My goal in painting is to use beautiful, clean color, to capture light; to create a look of freshness and spontaneity that excites one’s senses. My purpose with each painting is to create a mood that takes the viewer into the painting. 

I am a signature member of the Taos Watercolor Society.
