Vibrant, ultra-realistic images in color pencil. I apply 3-5 layers of Prisma color pencil on 100% rag paper. My landscapes are saturated with intense color and depth. Even the white of clouds is full of 3 layers of color.
Utility Box Beautification
Taos MainStreet received a NM Clean and Beautiful grant to help beautify the utility boxes in Taos, with the help of artist Jackie Kolbenschlag. We are looking for high school students to submit designs to be reproduced and put on Taos utility boxes as a vinyl wrap. Students can submit a photo of 2D artwork to our email (taosmainstreet@gmail.com) or give us a call (575-305-3905) to drop artwork at our office. The submission deadline is March 31st; a panel of judges will select 17 pieces of art to be reproduced and installed on utility boxes on Paseo del Pueblo in early May.
